FERN CARE GUIDE:

Light:

A brightly lit spot without direct sunshine is suggested. A small amount of morning sun is not a problem, and will actually help your fern to grow well. Ferns do very well in low light conditions.

Watering:

Ferns love to remain moist at all times and never want to dry out.  Drainage is recommended to prevent the soil from becoming water-logged.
Ferns enjoy higher humidity levels. Using a pebble tray or humidifier will help significantly.  You can also spray your fern with water a few times a week, as long as you have good air movement.

Soil:

Any high quality, natural potting soil will work very well.  Drainage is suggested for Ferns, to prevent them from becoming water-logged and rotting.

Peat-based soils, mixed with perlite is also a great suggestion.

Fertilizer:

If you feel the need to, you can use a balanced houseplant fertilizer once a month, or every other week in the summer.  Fertilizing is only truly necessary if the soil conditions are poor.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT SHIP PLANTS IN POTS LARGER THAN 6"
