Nematanthus is a genus of flowering, succulent leafed, epiphytic plants in the Gesneriad family, related to our Lipstick plants, African Violets and Streptocarpus.
In the wild, Nematanthus grows as an epiphytic vine, and in cultivation for houseplants, it is generally grown and sold as a hanging basket.
There are many species and cultivars of Nematanthus, all exhibiting branching vines and colorful flowers.
