Michealmoelleria viatnamensis , the Viatnamese Violet, is the only species in it's genus and is native to Viatnam. They are a cousin to our African Violets and produce delicate and beautiful light purple flowers, set against olive green leaves with white splotches.
Care for your Michaelmoelleria just as you would your African Violets.
Bottom watering is always best to prevent crown rot. African Violets thrive in an East facing window where they can take in the morning rays. Be careful, though, as strong sun, especially in the afternoon, can burn the leaves on a violet in just a few minutes.
