Euphorbia millii 'Crown of Thorns'

Euphorbia millii, commonly known as Crown of Thorns, is a striking succulent shrub prized for its vibrant blooms and architectural presence. Native to Madagascar, this resilient plant features deep green, glossy foliage adorned with sharp thorns and delicate flowers in shades of red, pink, yellow, or white that bloom prolifically throughout the year with proper care.

Crown of Thorns thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers well-draining cactus or succulent soil to prevent root rot. Water moderately during the growing season, allowing soil to dry between waterings, and reduce watering in winter. This plant is relatively low-maintenance, making it ideal for both experienced plant enthusiasts and beginners seeking a statement piece with minimal fuss.

The distinctive thorny stems and long flowering period make this succulent an excellent choice for sunny windowsills, bright shelves, or as a focal point in a succulent collection. Mature plants can reach 2–4 feet tall depending on growing conditions, offering substantial visual impact in any space. Its compact growth habit also suits smaller living areas when pruned regularly.

Perfect for plant lovers seeking a unique, long-blooming succulent with bold character and straightforward care requirements.
