Senecio ‘String of Pearls’ is a distinctive trailing succulent known for its slender stems dotted with plump, bead-like leaves. Its sculptural shape brings a soft, cascading touch to shelves and hanging planters, while its compact form suits bright windowsills and other well-lit spaces.
Native to the arid regions of southwest Africa, this drought-tolerant plant is adapted to periods of dry soil. Give it bright light and a well-draining potting mix, then let the soil dry between waterings. Avoid leaving the roots in standing water. With the right conditions, its trailing strands can gradually lengthen, creating an eye-catching living display.
