Silver Lace Fern - Pteris ensiformis

Regular price $ 9.99 Sale

Ferns are among the oldest plants in the world, first appearing in fossils dating back some 360 million years ago.  Many of the current ferns now, date back roughly 145 million years and include over 10,000 unique species.  They are different from almost all other houseplants in that they do not flower or produce seeds, and instead, reproduce by spores.
Commonly kept as houseplants for their lush, green fronds, ferns can be a bit tricky to keep without the right conditions.  Those that master the art of keeping ferns in their house benefit from their ability to purify the air and don't have to worry about their pets and children as ferns are non toxic and pet safe!
